Passenger window sratch

Hey guys, I just noticed today that my passenger side window has a small 5 inch long scratch on the inside. At first I though it was just a dirt or salt streak on the outside, but i soon realised after cleaning it and running my finger nail over it that the glass is etched very finely. I am pretty sure this happened today at the carwash while they were drying the car, because I never noticed it until today. I am not 100% positive it is their fault and I have no proof that it was. I know I have read that our glass is softer and can scratch and crack easily. Could the window be replaced under warranty? I am guessing no, so I will probably be looking into getting some glass scratch remover. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

my recommendation is to start washing your car yourself, especially since it's black.
It's not a suburban.
good luck.

They're not going to fix something like this under warranty. It's a scratch, not a defect.

Yeah i figured the warranty wouldnt cover it. Well i found out last night that the carwash didnt do this..I was talking to my gf last night about what happened and she confessed to accidentally making the scratch. Supposedly over new years she was trying to put something into my car (a porcelan dish) that accidentally made contact with the window and scratched it..

Texan1 I am very picky on who and how the car is washed. I know how delicate our paint and windows are. I always hand wash the car myself, but unfortunately Chicago winter temperatures keep me from doing this. The car wash I go to is one of the best around here. Its touchless and they spend 20-30 minutes hand drying the car, they do a great job. I was very suprised to find the scratch, it finally appeared because the car has been so dirty.

So does anyone have any recommendations on a good glass scratch remover/filler?
