Dealership says my belts are cracked and i may want to replace them. Shouldnt that be covered under warranty??? Either way (for the record) LIA INFINITI gives terrible service.

 

No belts are wear and tear like tires, clutch, etc.

 

...my buddy just had his belts replaced under warranty for noise (worn out/dry rotted) '05 coupe w/42k

I work for a Lexus dealer and we warranty d-belts for wear/ noise

 

thanks ralph. helps me a lot.. Im at 59k so i still have a thread of warranty left... Ill mention a friend of mine had his changed ... just hope they dont give me a problem. Ive found that some dealerships are much more helpful than other (i.e. LIA INFINITI in Albany is terrible and Ramsey INFINITI in Northern NJ is great, just FYI)
