besides brake torquing u have to know when to press the gass all the way down so tires wont spin.

can someone delete this thing? whenever people try to compare cars and post times and all, people are bound to get offended and defensive. this post serves no purpose. AND it's posted in the wrong section anyways

 

Nobody asked for this information, and no one here was flaming Maximas...I fail to give proper respect to other cars? Are you insane? I'm ignorant and yet you emtion Honda fanboy sites as an attempt to insult me, and that's a severely weak attempt...If you would have read my first post, assuming that you can comprehend all the words in the English language, you'll see that I mentioned I've driven several '04 Maximas, from Base SEs to Elite-packaged models...I also stated that the six-speed is a performer...If you'd direct yourself to the list of Forums you'll see that any information regarding other vehicles, sedans, SUVs, hovercraft, attack helicopters, etc. belongs in the section dedicated to rides other than the G35S or G35C...On top of that, I really don't see why we should care that the Maxima can keep up...So? What, are you some deficient street racer that likes to spin the tires in entry-level to mid-luxury sedans? I constantly discuss other vehicles on this site and don't sit around claiming that the G35 can kill anything it races and don't pretend it's the best ride around...Next time you'd like to post something here in a pathetic attempt to insult me make sure you put your thinking cap on, up the IQ level, and give me a challenge

Actually, what I have posted might be construed by some as Flaming, but it is just how I honestly feel: The '04 Maxima is so oddly proportioned, and to my eye, downright fugly, I wouldn't want one even if it ran a 1/4 mile in the low 10's. But I wouldn't go start up a thread in a Maxima forum to say so. ; )

 

if u wanted to post this information, next time, if u do, try and put it in the "Other Cars" part of the forum. the fact that you put this information in the "G35 Sedan" thread makes us believe that you are deliberately trying to compare the Max to the G, and judging by the time posted, saying that the Max is better than the G. obviously, ur gonna get people upset. just put this info in the section where it belongs next time. it would be more informative there instead of putting "flaming" or perhaps "informative" information into a section where it doesnt belong and ultimately cause an argument
