I haven't seen much under the hood of the '05-'06 sedans except those with the red V6 lettering which leads me to believe they come stock. But then again, I could be wrong and you could be right

No button to open the trunk from outside the car only from the alarm FOB and the inside of the cabin.

the 05-06 have the small button under the tail light to open the trunk.
funny, because i love that about my v35 sedan

i just like the things that make it (rare) unique, plus could come in handy with a police officer one day, if i can sneak flipping the switch in the glove compartment lol
