yep, that's pretty much it... I was hoping someone would do mine (since the LEDs are light up) - but this gives a good visual - thanks.

We’re getting closer guys!!! I spoke to Kevin earlier and he has a mock-up that works on his car (vids to be posted later)... still I'll be testing them on my car sometime next week (or shortly after)... there are a few minor things to work out - but the project has progressed more in the last 2 days than it has in the previous 2 weeks! So things are looking good

I have been studying some things on the 03-04 tails (planning my paint scheme)... and have noticed a few things that I had not previously thought of (not going into all of them here) - but I am wondering if anyone knows what the outlined area is in pic attached?... I think its just reflector, but they don’t illuminate... since have overlays right now mine don’t do much - but clearly it's there for something...

Here is the video.

This is on an '04 coupe, so it kind of looks silly. The beginning of the video shows the passenger side turn signal - this is how they work stock. The rest of the video focuses on the drivers side, the side that has been modified.

The tail lights and brake lights still function as normal, but now the brake light blinks when the turn signal is activated.

I grabbed 12vdc constant power from the stock audio amp that is in the trunk, and then all other wires were in the trunk right behind the lights.

Looks good so far!

So it looks like the unit completely overrides what the light does when the blinker is on.

If you have the hazards on and step on the brake, would the only thing that lights up be the 3rd brake light, or would they stop blinking?

if done as you suggested... how would it be indicated to make a lane change or right/left turn?...

If "ricer" means creating a unique look that is free from liability and reckless endangerment - then yes, this is ricer.

BTW, what is "ricer" anyway?... I akin it to an Asian accoutrement to a well balanced meal... considering this is a fine vehicle made in Japan, I guess this mod is a well-balanced accoutrement!

best PS so far!!!... The 03-04 will have a definite different look than 05-06 (as is w/OEM)... you're right about the Corolla look, but unique for sure!

The 03-05 horizontal lines of the LEDs and reverse lights are very conducive to this mod IMO! The OEM actually looks a little odd but this will look more natural... maybe thats why the design team changed the look in 05?...

Oh well, we (everyone here) made it better!

I like it. I think this will be great. I have the 06 sedan tails and dont plan on covering the top portion of the light. Just would rather have the led's blink for turn signal. Keep it up!

Slow down chief?!? This is what I get for all the help I have tried to give you on this mod, your wheels, etc?!? Don't worry, no need to slow down at all, I'll just stop completely.

I was just offering to help out so you would not have to pay someone to wire this up for you. Then I would have sent it up to you. So much for me trying to be nice and helpful.
