Re: g35x drop

The G has been dropped! I will post pics and stuff later! Brief overview, the rear has negative camber, the eibach springs for the reg. sedan (part # 6363.140) will work. There is also some negative camber on the front. The Volks look perrrrrrrrrty! I will post more tonight or tomorrow!

Later in day
The drop with the Eibachs is a bit over an 1" from stock, I have exact ride height measurements (before / after) but left them in the car.
The camber on the back is around -2 degrees and the front I think was around -1.
Toe in/out: dialed in per spec.
Ride is fine, maybe a little bouncier right now, but I also had the 4 orginial tires/rims that were replaced in the backseat and trunk. I have a picture posted in this thread:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showfla...ed&sb=5&part=5
The back end is a bit higher now that I've taken all the tires out.
As you see the car:
Tires: Toyo FZ4 245/40/18, Toyo T1s are on the way, just didn't get delivered yet.

Wheels: Volk GT-C face2 18x8 with a +43mm offset
Springs: Eibach 6363.140, stated 1" drop, tad more in this application.

Wheels/tires/springs all purchased from:
www.bigbeartire.com

In regards to Big Bear Tire, Justin is the best suspension/alignment guy I've ever done business with. Marty and John, best guys to deal with if you're looking for wheels/tires, period. If the website doesn't have what you're looking for, call and they'll find it.

Well, I think that about covers it for now, I have all the numbers in my car so I'll post them tomorrow.

Re: g35x drop

thinking about putting the tanabe sustec dress up springs which should drop the car 1.5" front and back. anyone think there would be any problems?

Re: g35x drop

It depends on the tire size you're going to run, I have 245/40's on mine which are .5 inch shorter than stock. Since I have the drop from the springs as well, adding another .5 inch would cover the top of the tire. Another issue would be the camber adjustments, I'm at -2.? degrees now in the back and -1.? in the front. I personally wouldn't do it. I may get the camber set to bring the back closer to stock, but the jury is still out on that.

Re: g35x drop

Man, why is your camber so off? when I dropped on the 350Z suspension at 1" front and 1 1/8" rear and my camber was no wear near yours. It was -1.1 front and -1.4 rear. I changed it to -1.1 rear, dialed out some rear neg toe and made the front 0 toe. Thing is, I totally hate changing it, car is not as nice at the limit. As soon as I get 350Z RSR springs on, alignment specs are going back to more aggresive.

Re: g35x drop

I have no idea on why it's so far off. Also slight correction, all cambers are all between -1.6 and -1.9. Not much better. Any suggestions? I have no noise so I'm assuming the springs are sitting properly. Toe in/out are all fine.
