replacing leather

I just bought my G, and it has grey leather, the dealership said they would redo them in black, and now are saying they don't make replacement leathers? anyone know other wise? any suggestions, I may take it back and get another one, I don't want a hack job on it...

any help would be appreciated!

Go to a junk yard and pull the leather off of the seats of a crashed G. Oh wait, you have to change the door panels, dash, etc, right?
That will get pricey.

My interior is black and grey, I am doing black carpet this weekend, and black interior door handles, so I think that and the black seats would look awesome.

Has anyone successfully dyed their seats from grey to black? I may end up having that done? what would that cost?

If you can find good condition seats/door panels from a salvage yard talk to a shop that does auto interior. They may be able to dye the sets or recover them.

I got quotes from a few reputable shops around, they are all quoting from $2k - 5k, the 2k being a deal through a friend. I'm thinking I will deal with the grey until it bothers me, or I find a good deal on 07 front seats! Thanks for your help!

Good luck on getting the seats you want. Personally I like my 06 seats better than the 07 seats, but if they were gray I would happily go to 07 seats with black leather.
