I was like hell no so I took the motor out myself and saw it was that the problem was on the arms in wiper motor assembly. There are these little white plastic circle thingys that was broken and that is what caused my problem. You cant order just those white things so you have to order that whole arm which is was only like 16 bucks or so. Hope this helps and welcome

i actually had this problem and did a write up of a fix on a different forum

there are arms for the "transmission" of the assembly. They have plastic inserts designed to go bad so that your motor doesn't when pushing heavy snow or excessive use.
