Enjoyed my sedan loaner ...

My sedan loaner felt like it drove better than my auto coupe. The sedan shifted more smoothly. Maybe it's time to reset my ECU. The steering felt more natural and not as stiff, though also not quite as on rails in sharp turns. Visibility was great. There were none of the blind spots like with my coupe, though a lack of tint also could have helped that. I liked how the slide for the sunroof disapeared when the sunroof was opened, though maybe that is just a 2004 thing. Anyway, props to the sedan.

Glad you enjoyed it Next time ask for a sports suspension, maybe that'll make it more "rail"-like Thanks for sharing--

I have the original 2003 G35 with a sunroof. The slide
disappears completely when it is open. I have never
has a sun roof before, so I thought that was the way all
sun roofs were. Is the Coupe different?

Yes, my coupe slide doesn't disappear. You can see the handle sticking out. The sedan way is cooler.

I took my sedan loaner to the 1/4 mile track...woohoo, it's fun racing with no worries! Ran a 14.8@94mph

Re: Enjoyed my sedan loaner ...

Yes, I had a coupe on order way back, then when the first ones started coming in and I test drove one, I didnt like it. No headroom in back and poor visibility. Not enough (virtually zero) performance difference to give up a full backseat and trunk, better console, and better price. So sedan was for me and have never regretted it. If fact, I would have regretted getting the coupe. It just didnt work for me.

Re: Enjoyed my sedan loaner ...

That's true, if you need a four door or to use the back seat a lot, the sedan certainly is worth getting with its performance. I like the coupe's styling better, and the back seat only gets occasional use so it works for me.

There's still one concern going to the track with the loaner. You can't hit the wall. LoL
