Ready to blow my top

So I ordered some Halos from AAC (Advanced automotive concepts) on Monday. I ordered them early in the day. I asked the guy how long they would take to get out and he told me that it would take 24 hrs. to process and ship. Then shipper says 2-3 days to ship. So I said ok then I will have them Thursday or Friday becasue Im doing my insatll on Friday. He said yea . So I get a shipping notice from UPS on monday Afternoon saying that I have a package fron AAC on Thrursday. So I check it out on Wensday night when I checked my email for the first time. So they had my street name completely Fu*@ed up. It also said when I clicked on the tracking # that it was shipped out on Wensday and it wont be here till Monday. So I called first thing Thursady and the guy that I ordered from was suppose to be in at 11 and didnt come in till 3 . So he tells me that theres not alot he can do but he will call UPS . I said ok. So he calls me back and said that they can try to intercept the package and overnight it to me . I said ok go for it. He said that he couldnt garentee that they could get it. So I called UPS today becasue it still said it was on the road. The lady I talked to told me that there was no intercept order on it and that they could intercept it but then they could not change it to air . She said thats not an option that they lt you do. So I call AAC and I was talking to another guy and he was being really Sh!ty . So I told him that the guy had told me it would take 24 hrs to process and ship and then 2-3 days shipping. So he right away says that there was nothing he could do since UPS was taking longer then 2-3 days. I told him that it wasnt there fault since they took 48 hrs to ship it out. So we went round and round he got sh!ter and sh!ter with me and finally said that since I know how it works that he would tell me how it worked in the real world so I told him to F off and hung up. So moral of the story is DONT BUY FROM AAC ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE CONCEPTS. Once they get there money they dont care about you. Oh and my address is still screwed up on the shipping label so I wont even get them on Monday. Sorry I was so long winded but damn I was pissed earlier. Oh he also said he would have the guy I bought the halos off of and I have yet to hear from him.

I'm sorry to hear about all this man. I was just lookin at the ACC Halos today actually considering getting my hands on kit. However, I heard some poor reviews on them with their service. However, seems like the actual Kit's are not too bad. Hope it get's resolved soon and you get them in your hands. Goodluck with it all

Mistakes happen. When I made a mistake with a customer that sent me something. I noticed I had the wrong zip and suite no. The tracking showed "wrong address" I called fed ex and they were able to correct those two mistakes and I got it that day. But it was scheduled for the day before.

So did you try to call ups yourself?

always blows when you order a part you're excited about and something happens. I just dropped $505 and ordered a Nismo rear underspoiler from everything35 and was told they will have to order one to come in. Also had problems getting Hawk brake pads from them since I moved and my billing address and shipping address was different so the order was placed on hold and I couldn't figure out how to change it on their website. It happens to us all here and there. Have patience if the dude was an *** I'd cancel. Not givng some jerk off my money.

I've had great dealings with AAC, Justin is awesome and is always willing to answer questions. I've been shopping for a set of these for my sedan for a while now, and finally bought one of theirs on auction on ebay today

I hope I don't run into the shipping issues you ran into, I'll wait and see. But up till this point they've been great to me. I'm just a bit worried about the install, seems like a PITA to DYI!!! Sorry about your jacked up experience though man.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience with AAC Buckeye. Kind of sucks cause I think they are the only ones selling the halo kits for our cars too. Kind of have the edge on us cause of that.

I at least hope the install goes okay for you and you don't have to go back to them for anything.

good luck

Has anyone installed this kit these themselves yet? I've seen custom ones (like ttranks) before. Didn't know this kit was so affordable. Hmmmm......

I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket set of headlights to get this kit put in then swap my headlights, but I'm kinda nervous when it comes to baking them.

Its not a big deal at all. You dont even need to buy an aftermarket set just use your stockers.
