Just Noticed the City Lights
I was looking at the headlights last night, and never realized they had city lights (the little dim bulb in the headlights that comes on with the parking lights. Pretty cool!

Turn on just your parking lights. There is a small dimly lit bulb that comes on inside the headlight assembly. That is called a 'city light'

Ya...
There basically clearance lights..a little bulb in the headlights turn on..when you turn your clearance lights on...

Never heard of that term. I believe it's illegal in most states to drive with your parking lights on and your headlights off.

I think florida is more relaxed on stuff like that.. I always drive with my parking lights on when its just starting to get dark. Ive never heard of anyone getting pulled over for that here.. also with window tint here, I always have 15% - 5% tint on all my cars, and its never been a problem..

I believe you can have your parking lights on until a certain time...But when it gets dark, you better have your headlights on..but truthfully, I have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for parking lights on during night time...My 2cents

True, but what's the point? Why not just turn them on? (Or let the auto-headlights turn themselves on.)
BTW, Jax, according to http://www.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/ FL's tint limit is 28/15, and the cops carry light meters. Just FYI. IMO, states' tint laws are too restrictive. CA is None/Any, and I've been running around here for 5 years in an Accord (stock) with something like 28/18 (had the tint done in TX before moving here); a cop didn't even mention it when I got a ticket for speeding. Technically, no state allows darker than 20 for the front side windows. Sheesh. Now if you live in Guam, the tint law was declared unconstitutional....
