Baitfish does your manual actually say 2004.5 on it?

 

No, I just checked the owner manual as well as the window sticker and neither indicated 2004.5. Only the nissan-techinfo/infiniti VIN spec for the repair manual gives clue to that so far that I've seen (thanks to this thread and the one at FA). I have an older 2003 repair manual on the computer that I've been using. Maybe I'll just drop the $20 and get the new one.

Hahaha [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img] indeed! I actually skimmed right over the part of less HP and jumped right on the emissions stuff. I sure am glad it doesn't seem to have had a negative effect on HP! That woulda been salt in the wound after crashing my last one (August build).
