Broken window washer tube! Common problem?

Guys,

The tube that connects the window washer fluid to the wider blade broke on my passenger side blade. The stealership is getting a new one for me, but I was curious if this is a common problem. I mean the tube/hose moves everytime the wiper blade moves. It seems if there is any defect in the material, eventually all of that movement is gonna make it snap.

I've had the G almost 8 months now and the only problems i've had is a broken cupholder spring and now this. I guess I should count myself somewhat lucky.

Mine never broke but I had the nozzles get stuck a few times and also have the angle of the spray become off. Today I noticed my drivers side had hardly any power with the water basically dripping so I took the tube completely out and the wiper assembly off, made sure that water was coming out strong and put everything back together which seemed to fix the problem.

I stripped off my nozzle from the wiper arm last winter while scrapping of the ice. Stealership does not sell the nozzle by itself you have to buy the whole wiper arm assy. ~$60 here in Canada.

I went to the dealership on tuesday and let them take a look at it. They ordered one part before I got there, but it turned out to be the wrong part. It seems I need a whole new wiper tube assembly, which also contains the long tube that runs underneath the car to the fluid tank. They temporary fixed it by using some really strong glue and since I'm due for an oil change in 2-3 weeks, they are gonna do the work then. I really thought the 3 inch tube could be replaced easily and I would be in and out in a couple of minutes.
