Got quoted $600 for a front brake job
Just had my front pads changed, ordered them from Grubbs for 59$
and my mechanic who used to work at Nissan charged me $20 per wheel.
Total 99$ for just the pads, which are OEM, the the ones that were
finished were OEM and I got 50,000km out of them, I tried Raybestos
ceramics but absolutely hated them, no dust, no noise but no grip....

If you can change a wheel, you car do your own brakes. if you do the work yourself, you'll save money and beable to upgrade to stainless steel brake lines.
I did all the brakes on my car but if there is one thing I'd change, I would go with the stock pads and chew through rotors than go with the cr@ppy hawk pads I have on there now.

I have a 2004 Sedan 6MT and my brakes pulsate as I press the pedal. I'm pretty sure the rotors are warped (probably front and rear). What rotors/pads would you recommend? I have just the regular brakes, not the Brembos.
