Hey, Newb Here!

Hey there everyone, was looking into a coupe earlier--hence the username--but ive decided a Sedan is more practical at this point in life.

Looking at a 03 sedan with 72,xxx miles. How does that sound?
Is that high-mileage too risky?
Are there any defects with it, since it was the first year of the new gen?

Thanks for your help in advance, and i will keep searching around!!!

Not too risky, if it's been taken care of it's fine. pska is right, though, 5AT only. Other than that, it's a fine car, I'm happy with my 03. Probably need brakes.

If you don't mind me asking, how much?

Reason for the question is I'm in the process of buying an 05 sedan with 72k on it for 15,800. Back brakes are in definite need of new rotors on mine though.

i bought an 03 about 2 months ago at 45K miles for $15,500, love the car, the only issue has been this annoying ac/audio malfunction (common on the 03's) and i'm in the process of doing an aftermarket DD to fix the problem.

the 03's do have alot of recalls, however the original owner(s) should've taken care of those already. click here for recalls

so, bottom line, depends on what the price of the car is.
