Re: Wiper Blades

Be very carefull when buying replacement blades from the
dealership. I recently drove to my favorite Infiniti dealer and
went to the parts department. I asked for the wiper blade
refills for a 2003 G35. Was handed two different size'd
blades. All looked OK. I decided to intstall them right
there and now in the service dive up area. I first removed
the drivers side blade and set it aside. The new longer blade
was too short. Both blades were too short. Went back to
the parts guy and showed him his F-up. Then he asks me,
"Whats your vin number?" WTF how should I know this off
the top of my head? Well, I just so happened to have the
repair reciept from some warrenty work, with my VIN.
So then he gives me the proper blade replacements.
Be warned!

Re: Wiper Blades

I'll second the Bosch....awesome blade. Well worth the few extra dollars. That was the first mod I did.

Re: Wiper Blades

PIAA makes the best blades... a little pricey but well worth it IMOP. You can get them online at http://www.tirerack.com

Re: Wiper Blades

Where do you get the Bosh blade refills? Are they made
specifically for our Gs?

Re: Wiper Blades

I replaced the enitre wiper, not just the refill. It snaps right on, takes about 30 seconds to do.

Re: Wiper Blades

Me too... am I the only one using PIAA? I've used the Bosch Micros in the past I think PIAA is better

Re: Wiper Blades

I wipe a little Rain-X on the windshield about twice/month. I usually do not have to use the windshield wipers at all...

Re: Wiper Blades

I did this once upon a time in my 1984 Horizon... it increases the friction between the wiper and windshield the net result it overheated my wiper motor and my wipers stopped working the middle of a major downpour while I was going 65mph on the highway...

I never used that [censored] ever again.

Re: Wiper Blades

That just does not sound right, alderran. I think RainX is
the best. I rarely turn on my wiper blades when it is fresh
on the windshield. I just realized that RainX makes a washer
fluid. Everytime you clean your windshield, you are applying
more RainX. It can't be beat!

Re: Wiper Blades

I have one issue with the wipers in general. The right hand (passenger side) blade tops out RIGHT in my line of site. Leaves a little semi vertical "ghosting" mark on every cycle. Anyone else notice it? I have stock blades still. Do the Bosch or PIAAs alleviate this?
