Here's my OB 03 with painted sills, Aero bumper, and painted splash guard along with a black painted muffler and Altima exhaust tips. I'm going to try and fit rear 05/06 splash guard because I like the way they extend onto the rear bumper cover.

OK, so I finally took my car to an auto body shop after making some decisions where to take it.

He had minor fitment problems with the Nismo bumper. Guy calls me to take a look at my bumper reinforcement.

I didnt take pics of mine, but...

This is what it should look like,

Notice how the metal rectangles are on the bottom half of the bumper. On mine where it is circled, that metal is a square and covers this area from top to bottom, which supposedly makes my front bumper protrude slightly. So he had to remove this part on mine. Anyone know where my reinforcement came from?

actually, the actual instructions for the bumpers ask for you to remove the 2 aluminum parts on the other edges of the reinforcement bar. I dont think he removd the right parts if he took out the one's you've circled.

here is a picture from daveB's DIY on how the part removed is suppose to lok like...

You simply drill out the rivets and throw those piece away. Takes 2 minutes.
