^ok that makes sense. So it is called Strut rod. Fvck! it is $165 each side. Hopefully when i get it checked tomorrow it will be just the strud rods not the control arms. I can finally feel what all the track times/countless canyon runs do to ur car.

there was a thread about this a few weeks ago!
the dealer now made just the bushings available instead of the whole compression rod! check w/ the dealer!

Hopefuly Rick from riverside can chime in on this.. I just called the dealer, they told me they dont sell the bushings by themselves.

Here are the part numbers for the bushings:

BUSH – COMPR ROD (2WD) 54570-AC70A
BUSH – COMPR ROD (AWD) 54570-AC71A

anyone have any idea what that clunking noise is? i have the compression rod squeak but it doesnt bother me much, but the god damn clunking noise is ridiculous. sounds like something wants to snap. any ideas?

I will find it out for sure. My guess is control arm bushings. I will have an asnwer by tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone know, by replacing the control arm bushings, does the alignment get messed up?
