Are "you" okay? No, you're going to die, unless you get an antidote from the doctor within 48 hours.

Is your car okay? Yes, it will be fine. The car hesitated & jumped a few times, right?.....your fuel was being cut off to save your engine. I've done this 3 times to my car already (accidentally like you have)....

Because it takes massive amounts of skill and talent to drive a manual car. Didn't you get the memo along with a pair of pink panities when you got your automatic G?

Massive amounts of skill? I drove a 5spd 300zx through hilly San Francisco for several years and am feeling pretty comfortable with driving a 5AT G35. Sure its nice to have immediate downshifts, but in reality, how often am I flooring it through city traffic.

I do it time to time by mistake and no problems so far (I service my car every 5000 kms though cuz of my service contract). Today I was in first and redlined as I was too eager on the throttle :P the engine did cut off the fuel supply and when I shifted into second the lady in the car beside me got freaked out because of the exhaust screaming away :P

Yeah, I was being sarcastic for sure...I think responses like "6MT FTW" are so freaking gay. Sorry, but that's my opinion.

I used to drive a manual I liked driving it..was fun for sure, and now have an auto with the manumatic option (my wife doesn't drive stick so needed to go with the auto) and to be honest, the G with manumatic sure is still a lot of fun to drive.

With a 6MT you can misshift and accidently select the incorrect gear and blow the motor. The rev limiter might work, but it can't stop the mechanical momentum of the motor if you grab 2nd gear 90mph instead of 4th gear.

You would really have to be a moron to shift into second by accident. Im sure it happens from time to time to a select few, but if you make that mistake then you're a moron.
