Help How do i remove this panel? pic

I stick some red cloth at the intersection where the wood meets the black panel to prevent the creaking/cracking noise everytime i step on the break.

I want to take that wood panel out so i can put some 3m tape to cusion the rubbing between the two panel.

Anyone know how to remove it??

On a 6mt you remove shifter then just pull up.

ya still under warranty but those idiiots are incompetent and they'll just make the whole console even worse.

i was thinking maybe it has a secret hatch like the arm rails where u stick a flat driver underneath a certain spot and it pops loose. but not finding it.
