I have been in the market to find a sedan for the wife. We want a manual with the sport package but we took a look at a 2005 today that had black shocks when it was a manual.

From what I have been reading the sport is standard on all manuals..

Did the color of the shocks change in 2005?

It would be awesome to see a options list for the sedan.

 

Yes the 6MTs came standard with the sport-tuned package. Did the car you were looking at have the 18 inch wheels? The sport shocks were red for the 2003-2005 models, and it for some reason the 2006s were black in color. You sure it wasnt a 2006?

It is, I need to change my screen name though. The 240sx has been gone for 5 years now.

It was a 2006 now that I look at the ad. No loss though, the exhaust looked like it was rusted through after only 30 k miles!

Thanks for the help guys/gals! With any luck the wife will have a g35 sedan 6mt with aero.. I would love a blue and tan but it seems it may be near impossible to find.

Some are red and some are black but as far as I know all the 04+ 6MT's came with the sport package.

 

Mine are black.

Yup, married and left the 240sx realm. I have a 2007 s2000 and the wife just got a 2005 6mt g35 sedan. Looks like you moved!

 

Yup. I'm in the Air Force now and I'm stationed at Luke AFB in Arizona. I've also graduated up from the 240. I had an '04 G35 6MT Coupe. I sold it to pay off some bills and buy a house. Did that, and now I have an '05 6MT Sedan. Check it out. There's a thread in the Sedan Photo Share forum titled, "Sneak Peak".
