WOULD YOU BUY A BUYBACK?

hey people i found a 03 g35 sedan. it has 22k miles and asking price of 25k. only problem is it is a buyback. i guess the lemon law was invoked on it for brakes and the dealer bought it back. then the dealer used it for 7k miles and then auctioned it off. now a small private dealer is looking to sell it. it has the sport package and the bodykit. i drove it and it runs very smooth, but who knows it was the first g35 i drove. need some advice on what i should do. if i was going to buy the car what is a good price. any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

man, if it was a loaner car, I don't know if I could handle that, there's a lot of quality cars out there that you'd be better off checking out, look for an onwner who cares instead of a loaner car...

I would never buy a lemon, a loaner, nor a rental car. At any price, let alone $25K! Good luck.

yeah, if it used to be a loaner car, then i'd stay away. i've driven sedan loaners with under 10,000 miles on them and . there have been some threads on this forum about the way some people have treated their loaners. it's scary.

check the "autos for sale" section to the left of this forum. good luck.

my thing is i wouldn't buy it for 25k. only way i would touch it is if i was to get it for 20k or under. would that be a good deal?

Re: WOULD YOU BUY A BUYBACK?

YEah, buybacks and loaners are pretty iffy. Last week my friend drop off his FX45 for service and the dealer gave him an I35 for a loaner car. He was racing people home and just having fun with it without any care because it's not his car. He even gave me the keys and told me to test drive it. I drove around in it and just beat it to death. So yeah, becarefull with loaners!!
