Having Withdrawls...

I have gone a week now without driving my car, as it is in storage, and im already wanting to take it out for a spring cruise.... Well fail, i have like 5 months left until i can finally take it out again.

I am bummin. Dont get me wrong, i love the 08 G, it is a great driving car, but its not MY car and its not my poor baby G which is sad and depressed and wants to go for a drive. Just does not give me the same wow factor as the 05 does.

Just put some rugs under it today so i wouldnt get flat spots on my tires. I cant get enough of my car. i miss it.

that sucks, but at least you get to see it everyday. May I ask why you are not driving it over the winter? Keeping it salt/snow free? RWD performs just fine with the proper snow tires.

Im parking it for the winter because we will save $900 on insurance.

And the 08 xS isnt being used. Dad is always in IL Sunday through Thurs.

I know RWD is fine with snow tires, not to concerned about that. Im taking it up to northern MN for college next year and plan on adding blizzaks.

I'm going through withdrawals and I drove mine yesterday I do know how you feel though, my swapped RSTi has been out of commission b.c of a blown 2nd gear since April. It has been 7 months of sadness seeing it in the garage. I do like to sit in it in the garage when I start it, open the sunroof, roll the windows down and listen to music haha. Hopefully this spring she will be ready to hit the streets again.

Don't feel bad I only put 6,000 miles on my car this year and retired her from daily driving. I miss my car, but I appreciate it that much more when I actually do drive it.

$8K with a 3-5 MPH hit? I doubt that. I was at a yeild sign in Sept waiting for traffic to pass so i can make a right turn and was hit in the rear by a 2005 F-250, it cost his insurance a rear bumper cover and labour for a grand total of $831 worth of repair to my car. Not saying the total is incorrect but rather he was definitely going faster than 5MPH when he hit you. Sorry about that and good luck. It only took three days to get my car back.

Most people would find these to be very effective for reducing cravings and causing a semi-coma like, "I don't give a damn!" what's my name, where am I, who are you, is it 1906 or 2034, sensation. We could probably get it on the group by plan thru this site!
