For all those still looking for a coupe midpipe
So i went to Pep Boys, and i asked for a 2004 coupe midpipe, and guess what. After a few days later and 70 bucks I have a brand New Pipe.
Ok so i went to pep boys and i asked, the guy was showing a part number but no pricing, he send me to reardon's is a small i think private owned parts store in my town. The guy at pep boys told me they will be cheaper. So he called them and gave them a part number so they looked it up for me. It is a direct match for the coupe except of it being a round resonator instead of the oval muffler that comes in the OEM coupe. So i installed it today and creamed my pants when i started her up. I took it for a spin, and WOW. It sounds so close to the coupe that i was very impressed. It has that I AM A G35 SEDAN AND I AM COOL sound. This is a great alternative for the coupe mid pipe, well it is one. Also the receipt i got at the little store was a parts plus receipt. I will try to put up a part number up later and some shots maybe a clip this weekend.

was this a direct bolt-in?
i assume its made by like Walker or some other OE-LIKE exhaust companies out there. I have a walker muffler on my maxima for $75 compared to nissan's $270 and it was a direct bolt-in.
curious on the TERM they used, mid-muffler and resonator are the names i hear.

Yeah as a matter of fact it is a walker muffler. I, for some reason, wanted to say walther earlier but that is not a muffler company

Walker is a muffler company... they claim they make muffler's for OE.

looking up the on the website 56184 would be the midpipe from the diagram.
walker makes bolt-on parts but since you changed the configuration from coupe to sedan there might be minor adjustments needed.

OE is crush bends as well AFAIK. mandrel bending is very costly, plus OE isn't going for HIGHEST HP numbers, they are trying to build a cost effective car therefore we get crush bends as well.
the video isn't exactly accurate since its INSIDE A garage, but any video helps, thanks for the upload and pictures. it gives some people the $100 brand new option.
If mines had rusted off and i needed one ASAP, this would be a great choice @ $100 bolt-in but if i had the time i would wait for OEM as well.
