Removed the spare only... then filled with a prepper hiking pack (Deuter) packed with some survivalist gear-- Ka'Bar, Lifestraw, 1st aid kit, warm clothes, etc. I guess I went backwards and put weight on. Also traded oem 215/55/17 for 245/50/18's on the rear and 235/50/18's on the front on an 04 sedan. No mods.
Guess it depends on what you need/want.
