Should the sedan clear corners be flush?

I got a set of sedan clear corners about a week ago and noticed that although they are flush with the fender they are not flush with the bumper edge. This is a legit Nissan part and not some ghetto replica. I'm seeing about 1cm or so of the bumpers edge. Is this normal?

I'm wondering if its a difference between the Aero and non-Aero bumpers?

They were flush with the stock bumper and are a little off with my nismo.

I just went outside to look at it and there is definitely a difference in fit between the two sides. The passenger side is perfectly flush, while the drivers side is not. I can see one or two cm of the bumpers groove sticking out.

that's how mine look. they only come out a bit once in a while and i push them back in. It's due to the metal clips. sometimes they get too bent sometimes so you can bend them back and they sit flush
