Question suggestion and questions about 20" wheels

hi guys,

i am thinking about buying some 20" wheels from my buddy for my 2006 G35 sedan.

the wheels are 20" x9" all around, offset is +34

First of all, do any of you recommend me NOT to do it?

and what size tires will i need to get so they will fit?
I do NOT want to roll the fenders

is this offset too low?
is 9" too wide for the front?

thanks guys!

You may have a problem with 9" fitment depending on offsets (My 9.5" wide 18's did not fit in the rear). You will also most likely be rolling your fenders for proper fitment. Although 20's are possible, I think the look depends heavily on wheel design. They may look too large and please don't get chrome ghetto wheels. I would say 19's are perfect on the sedan with a nice drop.

PM Gdupsedan, he's the offset guru on the sedan and answers all my questions regarding that. I'd say you should be fine, but not too sure about that front. I have a 33 offset 8.5 by 19inch wheel in the front that I could space one more milimeter so I'd say go for it.

He also said "First of all, do any of you recommend me NOT to do it?"

I can't imagine why anybody would want to screw up what is a nicely balanced car, so I asked why he wanted them.
