Accessory / Drive belt for early sedan question. Sizes

Guy at Napa couldn't sell me one of the drive belts because he said there were two available. He asked me the belt length ( can't remember which belt though). I suspect it's because our earlys came with the clutch fan and the rest with electric fans?? I dunno. But can anyone confirm the oem or aftermarket belt numbers for those of us with the clutch radiator fan option? Thanks

You need to shut it noobie. Yeah I thought of that and it's probably what I'll have to do since no one else is chiming in.

+1 on going to the dealer. It's not like they charge you up the @ss for it.

Jeff....I ran into the same problem. Clutch fan belt was fine but the OEM compressor belt (thinner of the two) was about 1 inch too small. I went to Kragen and got a Goodyear Gatorback one which was the right size. Part #4040372

OEM sizes
11720-4P102 is the right one for the clutch fan belt
11920-AL510 is the WRONG one for the compressor belt

I think I have the compressor belt for the 03.5 on up (electric fans).

Hope this helps.....oh and I went threw a "dealer" to get the OEM belts

I had to replace mine just before 30. My A/C belt broke at about 29k. It was around 100f outside when it broke and my car was sitting in the sun . Yes, that sucked.

Mine started squealing a couple of days before it snapped. Just look at your belts periodically for damage. Any sign of damage and you should change your belt(s).

Sedan
belt sizes

Sorry i didn't reply sooner, but I ran into this problem when I changed out my compressor belt on my early 2003 G35. I ordered the belts online and found out after I got them that the compressor belt (11920-AG900) was too big. I did a quick search on the forums and found out there are two different sizes where post-10/2002 production models have a different belt size. For pre-10/2002 the correct OEM compressor belt P/N is 11920-AL510. Not sure for aftermarket P/Ns since I tossed my old aftermarket belt and didn't write the number down.

Finally got around to doing this.

Napa sold me 4 belts

What I ended up after I took off the oems and matched them up:

I have an early 03 w/ the clutch fan:

Big belt: Nissan # 11720-4P102. I used a Bando 6PK1180

Other small belt had no number. But I used a Napa 040365
