Using the warranty

Ok so I own a 2003.5 G35 sedan sport model. It has just under 50k and has the extended elite warranty.
These are the issues.
· 4-5 LEDs out in rear spoiler
· CD player reads CD ERR FO
· Sometimes intermittently audio stops working in driver’s side upper speaker. If you tap the side of the head unit it starts working again.
· Driver’s side seat switch only works intermittently
· Driver’s side seat belt doesn’t retract
· When cold the heat system blower fan makes a horrible trashing noise when starting up. This goes away once it becomes warm.
· Truck lid doesn’t seem to be aligned properly and always looks like it is open. Allows leaves and things to get into the trunk.
· In the cold passenger side window is very slow, weak and sounds like it’s grinding.
· When starting up when it’s very cold, engine makes a strange whistling noise. (Not the normal cooling fan noise.)
· Driver’s side seat “rocks” when accelerating and coming to a full stop.
· When making turns on uneven surfaces something in the front suspension makes a strange “crunching noise.” Seems to happen mainly when turning onto side streets from a main road.
· Also I have noted on 2 occasions the odor of gasoline coming from the vehicle. I understand there was recall on the fuel filler hose on some of these vehicles and would like to make sure it is not cracked or was replaced on the recall from March 13 2006.
They have had the car a full day and told me that would have to keep it until after noon tomorrow to work out the heater fan issues and other cold weather related stuff.

So far I guess they have ordered a new rear spoiler (guess they don't sell replacement LED bars?), new head unit, new window regulator, front suspension bushings, a new door speaker (although I know the problem is not the speaker but the wiring on the head unit) and they are going to see what else needs to be replaced. They also serviced the seatbelt. All this for my $100 deductible. WOOT!

And check this they are letting me drive a 2009 FX35 no charge while the car is being fixed. So far this is a damn good dealer ship experience. I'll update when they get back to me.

Good luck and hopefully the extended warranty will take care of all the issues with your car at hand.

My dealership is Mike Ward Infiniti in Littleton,CO.

They told me it would be a few days or so to get all the parts in. So they ordered
new cd player, new bushings, new spoiler, new window regulator, new door speaker, new seat switch and a new heater blower.

They adjusted the seat belt and checked the fuel filler, and the belts. Car should be good as new when it gets back.

So they got all the parts in and install on my car last week. They had the car for 2 and 1/2 days and gave me the FX35 as a loaner again.

They replaced nearly $3000 in parts including new spolier, new seat switch, new head unit, new door speaker, new blower motor, new window regulator, new spoiler, new seat sliders and new suspension bushings and they adjusted a bunch of stuff.

The car is great now, they really did a nice job.

Of course after any big repair my clock lights burn out.lol Ordered new leds and I'll be good to go.
