Couple of Plastic Questions

First, I was wondering if there is a plastic cover under the hood on the driver side by the firewall, just like there is one for the battery. I saw a picture of a G's engine bay and noticed they had one and realized I don't. I don't know if it's because I have a sedan or if for some reason it was not there when I bought it.

Second, I am needing the plastic cover that is removed when changing the oil. If I can find one at a junkyard, does it matter if it's from an '03 - '04 or even from a coupe?

It doesn't come with plastic cover on driver side from factory but you can buy it online.

What you need is called a splash shield I think. It goes for $150+. Someone posted an oem part # for it on another thread a while back.

Thanks guys. I actually found that thread after I posted. I'm just wondering if I can get one off another G at a junkyard, maybe one from a coupe since it may be more common or even from an older model sedan.

*EDIT: I guess I can for the underbody. What about the one for the fenders?

This is the part I'm looking for (as circled). Pretty much the same as the battery cover, but I'm looking for the entire piece on the driver side.

When you decide to purchase the RHD (right-hand drive) battery cover, keep in mind that there are 2 versions of the part: modified and unmodified. Modified means the part has been pre-cut to directly fit that empty area, and may come with black push-style plastic clip(s) as well. Unmodified means the part has not been pre-cut, and so would require it to be cut so that it would properly fit. There is a DIY procedure posted in the forum showing how it can be cut to fit in your car.

just search jdm battery cover on ebay, and in the classifieds here. they're ALWAYS on ebay and from time to time someone will twist their car around a tree and part it out, and you'll reap the benefits.

I've seen the modified one for ~$65 from vendors on here from time to time.

Check with your local dealer for that under tray part. I got a new one for mine for ~$110 from my dealer.
