Lesser of 2 evils: Stillen vs injen

I plan on purchasing my intake in the next few days. I know there is not much difference in these two intakes: The price is about the same, after u get the Z tube for the Stillen. The horsepwer claims are the same about about 12-14HP. I also know neither is exactly easy to install. I really dont wanna scratch my arm up trying to tighten a bolt nor do i Wanna take my bumper off. Which do you guys recommend. Does anyone have a documented install or atleast the install steps to a Stillen. I dont recall seeing them anywhere. Thanks

go injen. you dont have to take the bumper off at all. I think it is the best intake to get. DONT get STILLEN.
i have the injen and love it. the sound and power gains are untouchable.

I can't comment on the Stillen product but can confirm the relative ease of install for the Injen. Makes some power and it looks great too.

I disagree. The Stillen is the better intake. The install is a bit tougher, but I have heard of some rubbing issues with the Injen. The Stillen intake is a very clean install. No big airfilter hanging out in the open. Pressure is necessary for suction in the intake, the Stillen creates that suction.

for the injen.. exactly where is your cold air coming from?

that metal pipe sure loves the heat from the exhaust... helps warm up that cold air.

venturi ring? What's that.. .you probably won't find any help on Injen's website.

Also, you have to remember that Nissan's engineers did a damn fine job the first time around with the stock intake. Now, consider Steve Millen's relationship with Nissan. Hmmm...there's a reason his products work so well on our G's.

Good luck....

Cheers, Ted
