Need Help! belts
So i was driving on the freeway today on my way home and as i turn off the off ramp my steering starts to feel heavy as if the power steering went out my house isnt that far off the freeway so i risk it and go home, when i get home i open my hood to find that the front belt is broken im not the most car tech savy person but after searching i found that we dont have timing belts but timing chains so what was broken most likely wasnt the timing chain, now my question is what belt is this and is it a easy fix? i want to make sure i know what the problem is before i go into get it fixed so i dont get ripped off, also is this belt related to power steering? as my power steering went off as this broke thanks in advanced!

I just recently replaced both belts.. my suggestion if one broke.. its only gonna be a few months till the other breaks if that.. I got both belts off Struas Auto and it cost me $25.. i installed them myself and only took 30 mins.. loosen 2 bolts.. take off the old belts, put the new ones on, and tighten up the bolts.. as far as other components it might affect i have no clue.. but i strongly suggest getting them both replaced..

I would do a search.. if you can't find any its really simple.. just loosen on of the bolts till u feel the belt get loose.. and same for the other belt.. *might need to loosen two bolts...

thanks for all the help man really appreciate it
Dang... good thing I am dropping my car off at the dealer today for a battery test (to see why my ish keeps draining batteries) and also to get the belts looked at. I started it the other day and until it warms up it is squeaking really bad.
