Paddle Shifters?

I know there's been some pics posted of 350GT-8's that feature paddle shifters. Has anyone tried or does anyone know if they can somehow be adapted to the G35's wheel and made functional?

I've seen some posts in the 07+ boards about guys doing it easily. It's just a matter of the parts existing, and if the 350GT-8 has them, then it might be possible. (easy and cheap another story)

Cool, so there is an aftermarket solution. Curious to see how the install is.

WOnder if there is a factory OEM solution as well using 350GT-8 parts?

$410 shipped. It's a special order item from Japan. Quite a few Z owners and a few G owners already have this setup. Apparently Bell has revised the kit and the paddles are now aluminum with CF inserts. Since I have the willow interior, I'm going to try and remove the CF inserts or paint them aluminum. I'm not a fan of CF, especially with a willow interior.

I'm sure there is a way to make it work, but the hard part would be getting a broker that can get you the JDM parts.

I agree. Not a fan of CF myself. My IS250 has the paddles in AL and it looks nice behind a black steering wheel.

I have paddler shifters on my Salsa road bike and see their purpose, just don't understand their purpose/advantage in a car.

I have the paddle shifters on my IS250 and i like using them vs "shifting" with the shifter stick. It's just nice putting a finger out and pulling a lever. Different feeling of driving. In the IS250, you can shift both ways with the paddles and stick, i I prefer the paddles much better. I don't think i've ever used the stick
