Yeah they are plastic and very light. But they aren't built like a steel ramp. They have a thick honeycomb structure inside. It's very sturdy. I'd trust that ramp more than most jack stands. Especially if you are trying to turn a big wrench and really have to use alot of force.

My Rhino ramps were useful on my car until it got lowered on Eibach springs. Now I can't ride up onto the ramps without having the bottom part of the front bumper catching the ramps' incline. I could find a couple pieces of 2x4 to lay on the ramps, but thankfully I have a floor jack and 2 jackstands to compensate this.

Depends on the work you need/want to do to the G. For the regular maintenance like fluid changes, the ramps are great. You can accomplish a good amount of work under the car using those. If you plan on doing things like suspension work you'll need a jack and stands...and you can also do all the rest. Stands are the strongest when they are at their resting points (all the way down) so unless you need the clearance, always keep them at the lowest level.
Oh...and don't forget to put on the ebrake and get some wheel chocks

What about when you have the rear up? Are wheel chocks in the front good enough? Since the e-brakes won't be working during that time.

I think I have those same stands you posted up in the picture...the higher ones. Yes, the wheel chocks are enough. You need to be on a flat surface whenever jacking up a car. I can't remember how many G's I've jacked up in my garage but its been alot lol

to you rhino ramp guys, they were working great on my FWD lancer and AWD c280, but for the RWD G, since the front wheels aren't pulling the ramp under it, when i try to go on it the ramps just slide. Does this ever happen to you guys?

The ramp has two rubber stamps under the fronts to prevent sliding. It still can happen if the surface is slick though. I always thought riviting a sheet of plastic to the ramp that the wheel would hit first would prevent this (if it ever became a big problem)
