The Stillen is nice but a bit loud for my wife. Great choice.
Thanks, I don't know why the HKS and coupe midpiped droned so much. I guess the twin resonators on the Stillen make a difference.

Powerhousefan: I was waiting for a plug n' play system. Thought about customizing then thought naah. Guess I'm lazy. I had the Stillen system put on at Midas with welds to get a good seal on the midpipes and X pipe.

Xman,

How was the install ? You do it yourself ? If so, how long did it take ?
Thanx.

I brought the car to Midas Mufflers for install. They recommended that they weld where the X pipe connects to each midpipe for a good seal. Paid $150 and they did a great job. I also saved the old parts.

Not sure exactly what the gains are other than my buttometer (subjective) as mentioned above.

Stillen 05 G35x cat Back System just installed

Hi,

It's done! Just installed the 05 cat back to my G35x today!
The sound is awsome. Fit is perfect, cost $140, 2hrs job at local shop.
Not as laoud as I thought, I was kind warried, but deep, no problem passing 95db inspection. 3000 rpm up sounds awsome, 4500 rpm it become music to my ears, It's a beauty! I put the K&N filter in at the same time.
I can feel the power!

I uploaded 16 pictured un on the cardomain site,

please check it out & & cast a vote for me. I can't seem to get my ranking up in cardomain.com, Hope you guys interested in the 05 cat back could help me out!

If any questions, please leave a msg in my cardomain guest book.

thanks

Ma

Cool, some people have claimed that it's too loud for their tastes, but each to their own. Nice job on the car.
