IT also depends on what you want to do with the vehicle. If you want to add a body kit and such than an 04 is the way to go as there are kits and pieces available for it. Granted this is not saying you cannot change the 05...its just going to cost you more. I bought an 05 for the interior differences. The seats and gauge display are the most important reason I went with the newer model. I say drive them both and purchase based off your own decisions. Good luck and let us know what you get.

Dual climate is overrated. I had to have it though, but now that I do, it's pointless. You need to hit DUAL to cycle through the 3 different modes and then adjust the temp. Too much work, I just leave it on BOTH and adjust the temp ****.
Now if they put a temp **** on both sides, it would be much better.
Bad enough as it is the controls for the radio, heat and NAV are setup for a left side driver.

FYI. If comparing comparable models with comparable miles, a car that is one year newer will typically be ~$2500 more. So if the features and styling changes are worth $2500 to you, then go for it.
Personally, I had a budget and the '04 fit, while the '05 didn't. And after finding out the power was virtually no different, I was fine with my decision. Sure, I would like body colored sides and the i-key thing, but not for $2500.
