every bit helps. they will sell a for sure X amount of volume and we in turn save a couple of bucks. might sound pointless and dumb but why the hell not.

my point was, its not worth the effort putting together a GB to save a few bucks - and Riverside probably doesn’t have enough mark up on a price point that low to do it anyway... You guys need to remember, there’s a lot of time and effort that goes into a GB - trust me, I've done it.

I'd rather hit up a vendor regarding a GB that is worthwhile to all involved... and selling a $40 part for $37 isn’t worth it for anyone... you wont get them to do a GB for 50% or anything like that.

Knock yourselves out though.

the piece came in....very nice fitment and quality....it didnt feel like chea piece of paper filter at all.

installation was a snap...10-15 mins. The only thing I'd be concerned with are the plugs behind the glovecompartment. In the install video by bythabay, he didnt have these plugs.....but I had a a yellow plug right next to the light and that (according to the instruction that came with the filter) is the airbag plug and we should not unplug it during installation.

Anyways I worked around it and everything fit like a glove..would definitely recommend the filter master one on amazon. IT shipped like 1 min from my work!!! if I had know I'd went to pick it up

Hi everyone,

I went in for an oil change and the dealer had told me I needed a new air filter. He quoted me a price of $40 and I said no thanks thinking I could just buy one and do it myself. No one has mentioned K and N. Is it worth the price?

I saw one when I did a google search on logic-source.com for around $6 bucks, is it worth getting a more expensive air filter? Let me know your guys thoughts, thanks!

which filter are you talkin' about? the thread has been about the in-cabin air filter... not the engine intake air filter. Does K&N make an in-cabin air filter?

I was following a different thread from a few years ago that G Sedan was part of (I think).

I believe this is the link you want:
http://www.amazon.com/FilterMaster-A...3932761&sr=8-1

^^ HAHA

Have to laugh at myself when the reason I followed that old thread is because I got lost reading through the old post that G Sedan linked to on Page 2. I knew there was a reason I thought he was involved.
