Its me again, I have less than a 1/4 gas in my G and I am dredding filling it tonite. Yikes $2.43 a gallon at my favorite gas station. Its gonna cost me the equivalent of cheap date!! I can take my family to White Castles and have a gourmet meal for what its gonna cost me!

What are you guys paying when close to empty to fill it up?

This has been discussed many times in the past... But I think it would be interesting or someone to avg out all the replies from the older threads along with this one. It would be cool to see what the avg is that most sedan owners are paying... hmm.

Anyways, I have filled up for ~$41.30 once.... And that's on 87 octane. I rarely fill up on 92, since I really didn't notice any difference in performance or economy.

Lately, I noticed that prices are slowly coming down. I mean SLOWLY.

The most I had filled up the G's tank was the time that the navi read "1 mile to empty" and that costed me around $35. I only put in octane 91 gas so far.

2003 Infiniti G35 sedan Twilight Blue/Willow, 5AT, premium, sunroof, winter, HIDs, navi.
2004 Lexus RX330 FWD wagon Flint Mica/Light Gray, premium plus, navi, Mark Levinson, rear DVD.

 

I filled up this morning. The gas light was on and it took 17.2 gallons of gas. 91 octane at 2.3999 total of $41.28 gas is not cheap here in Vegas.

I'm in socal and it costs me an average of $40-45 to fill'er up

wow, $45! gas is still relatively cheap in jersey, so my fill ups are about $30-$35. Are they coming out with the Hybrid G35 any time soon?

 

My first fill up was $47. and that was 93 octane in Chicago which was at ome time $2.49, thank God it is down in the $2.07-2.15 range now, now my fill up are in the 30 range

 

Here in San Diego, 91 octane is 2.69 per gallon.

I usually don't like running my tank below 1/4 tank but a couple of weeks ago I was in such a hurry rushing around town that I didn't have time to stop for a fill-up. When I finally did get a chance to fill up it took 18 gallons and came to over $48...Luckily there were still a couple gallons left in the tank or I would have broke $50!

91 octane not available. we go from 89 to 93
