but I caught the culprit. She let here door open into my left front fender. So Now, I can get my front bumper painted at the same time.
That lady's husband was pissed when he saw what she did.
And I was only standing 20 feet from where it happened.
I loved the look in her eyes when I asked for their insurance information.
And guess what? It was a damn SUV, big a$$ chevy tahoe

Try looking up paintless dent removal. I had a guy come look at my car when I got my first door ding. He painlessly removed it. It still looked scratched after her removed the ding(since he doesn't work with paint), but after some clay-bar and wax, it is good as new.
As long as the ding is accessible, not on the edge of the panel, not too deep, or the paint has not cracked, PDR is the way to go. Plus, a repaint is never a 100% match.
