Need to change the oil. Mobil one oil is still hard to find, or ridiculously priced. So what are you guys using instead?

It's still pretty cheap at walmart. I think it's 27 bucks for the 5qt jug. If thats too much, just get some non synthetic and change it at 3k.

Amsoil or royal purple bro, cant go wrong with either one. One good thing about amsoil is you can use to for extended intervals, so basically ull be paying like 60 bucks for every 7500-8k miles. On the other hand you have to get an oil change every 3k for royal purple. it will give u more gains tho. ur choice, jus think abt what u want, n how much u willing to pay. btw this is based by reading threads, as i have only used amsoil. im thinking of trying royal purple next tho.

I run Q Power 5w30 syn.

The oil heads at Bobistheoilguy.com like Q Power, so I am fine with it. I change the Q Power syn at 8K miles with a quaility oil filter. Plus at $18 a 5qt jug at WM, it is a steal!

BTW, get a quality oil filter too. I run Purolator Pure One oil filter. Pure One, Wix, Napa Gold(made by Wix), Bosch, and M1($$$) oil filters are very well respected by the Bob's oil heads. The Napa Gold oil filters will be Buy One, Get one Free on March 21 and 22 at the local shops around here. I will be getting some on that promo.
