We must be on the same page, I drove that spot this weekend too, got past the 1200 mile mark and decided to push it. The G35 handled that section much better than my C230 Mercedes. Very nice picture, how did you do the pan?

I did the pan with my cannon powershot s200 digicam.. pretty cool features... i went up angeles crest till the gate was closed.. there are some really nice turns.. the G was hugging the road like never before i fishtailed a few times.. but oh well :> there was a huge biker meet (all kinds of bikes..sports/harley) at that resturant on that route

Re: Cool Pan Pic from this weekend

HEEHEE.. the cam is only a 2megapixel camera.. i realized I diddnt need much more than that.. the pic is actually like 8 (partial) pictures togeather.. each pic beign 1600x1200.. I had to greatly reduce the size.. 30%

I think the cam was in the neighboor hood of $300 from bestbuy.. im sure you can find it for $200 online..

Re: Cool Pan Pic from this weekend

Did the camera have a setting for panoramic or did you stitch the pics together.

His cam like my S230 has a stitch assist mode to create panoramics. Nice feature.
