question about my sunroof..

Can anyone tell me how long it take for our sunroof to fully close? it seems that my sunroof takes long time to close, where it seems to hesitate.. Is this normal or do i need to take it to the dealership..

i dont know.. takes about 5 seconds to fully open/fully close.. it sounds like you might need it looked at because mine moves continuous and smooth no hesitation.

Mine is smooth and takes a few seconds too. I miss the switch on my Maxima that you could push till it clicked, leave go, and the sunroof would open the whole way. I"m not a fan of holding the switch the whole time in the G. But seriously, get your rood checked Cali, especially if you're still under warranty because sunroof stuff can add up really quick! I paid $300 to have a new motor put on my sunroof so it could open ... that was back in '99. (and the car was a '93 VR6 Passat)

Coninuous and smooth here. I see people complain about the speed of their sunroofs on here occasionally. No such complaints here. Never timed it, but it's 3-5 secs I'd say. Single press of a button to open or close; I don't see what there is to complain about myself.

You may want to have yours checked out.

It takes longer if the car is off, that is normal.

While running, it should not take long at all. If it does and it is jerky, your motor may be going bad.

Here is a reset for one touch.

If reset does not work, you may need a new motor:

If you are tilting it up, you need to hold the button down to go up or down.

Back and forth is 1 touch.

I counted my roof. It was "six one thousands" to fully open the roof and about 6 and a half to close it.

05 X model. One touch open/close, smooth, only a few seconds. This car has the fastest opening/closing of all windows I've ever seen in a vehicle!
