Alright! So I got the art pipes and with tollboothwilleys help we got em on. I have some serious rasp between 3k and 4k rpms, there's a leak in maybe one or two spots, that could be causing the rasp, the sound is gonna be really great once I get everything fixed and put together perfectly, its really loud at high rpms but the slight drone I had with windows up and slow driving is almost gone!!! I'm thinking about a resonator for the xyz but not till I double check all the bolts and gaskets. The power is totally there, butt dyno proof! Lol.

wow jealous still...but congrats on finally getting them on.

so you think that the possible leaks are coming from one of the gaskets, not a weld right? I'd be really surprised if its from a weld.

How hard were these to install with the two of you working on it?

The install was new for me but tollbooth has done stuff like this before, it helps a lot to have two people for install. I think it might be the gasket or one of the bolts may have come loose. I'm going to check it later.

^^ Awwwwwww jeaaaaahhhhhhhh, Brad. That has got to be beastly with all the components of a MD exhaust in place. Man, I keep forgetting you have a straight pipe with no resonator . I'm pretty sure your kids won't mind it but does the wife not ride in the sedan?

Have you noticed any smell from the ART pipes? There's a thread floating around where some guys add the cat module to the XYZ to combat that:

Sooooo....when we gonna meat so I can hear/feel the ART pipes in person?

Well the slight drone I had is almost gone but rasp and high end noise is LOUD! John said when we get a chance were gonna put the resonator from his xyz on my car to see what kinda sound it makes, I'm really not happy with this rasp it has, I have to figure it out soon, my wife doesn't really mind the modding. The smell is almost gone too. Just 20 miles on the pipes and I only smell it on start-up. I sent tony and email to get his input. I hope to fix it tonight or tomorrow. Peter I think it will be in december when we can get together, it will be fixed by then

Lets swap XYZ accessories today. See if that helps. While we're at it, we might as well just go ahead and swap my HFC for your ART pipes. You know, just to "solve" your problems.

Resonator for the win. Hooked up johns resonator to the xyz and its fixed! No rasp and good sound, new resonator is coming soon. I wanted to run the setup I had but not all exhaust combos work well together. I'm pretty stoked and can't wait till the reso gets here! Thanks Tony!!!!!!
