Went to the muffler shop today and had them adjust the hangars to tuck the mid and axleback 3/4" higher up under the car. Tips look much better and I got that much more clearance for the mid back. Beware, Droid pics:

Always a comedian hanging around somewhere. A coupe more pics and I'll add a video when it finishes uploading. There's a little rattling in the video that wasn't there this morning so I've got to find out where it's coming from. Exhaust sounds damn good though!

Nice Tim - how did the exhaust shop adjust the muffler to sit higher? Did they use either of the 'rotate midpipe' or the 'use higher mounting point on rubber H bracket' methods?

I'm thinking about cutting off an inch or so on each metal L mount on the exhaust to make the muffler sit more high. Want to go more low in the rear and not scrape the VQ baby

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the compliment. My wheels are 19" but look bigger due to the spokes coming out to the edge of the rim.

My hangars were tilted slightly upward so they heated up the 3 rods, 1 on the MP and 2 on the axleback and bent them straight. The angle was causing the exhaust to sit lower than I wanted. The muffler raised up about 3/4" and I still have 1/4" clearance on the bracket that holds the driveshaft up if it broke. Took about 30 min. and they charged me $40. Well worth it for the results.

Here's the video.

It sounds meaner at WOT of course which I didn't hit in the vid. When you hear it in person I promise it'll get the Gabe seal of approval.
