Lost my only key...

..how much am i looking at the dealer for a replacement key? i call the dealer and left 2 vm but no respond yet. i call the locksmith around here and it range from 160-260 to cut the key and programmed. any advice?

order an ebay key + fob. have a locksmith cut + program the new setup. oh yeah, get spares too.

how the heck did you only have 1 key?

The dealership where I got my car only gave me one key but I have the keyless feature so I dont worry as much bout losing it or locking it in my car as it never leaves my pocket except to sleep on my nightstand

I've actually got 3 keys. Only 2 will work with the car. If you still need a key i'll let ya have my extra. Just let me know.

^^^is it a transponder key? pm me the info. as for how i lost it, i was in vegas last weekend and my mom borrow my car to work. she miss place it somewhere. when i bought the car from a used dealer, they only gave me one key and when i try to make a copy, it cost too much so i never made one so now im paying the price...lol

had the same problem...

mines came out around $375.00 total
re-program the system and extra key cut..
but thats if you want the smart key with it

lol i can relate to you alot, when i bought my car it only came with one key and i called infiniti to see how much it would cost to make a copy and they said around 300 bucks so i never made one, but i havent lost it yet "knock on wood" i need to get myself a spare so i dont end up like you lol
