put it this way again.....you didnt plan to get a new car, now that you are VIP, you want to go and get a new one. you get pwned on the trade in , and then mini pwned on the new car....and the pwnage continues as more VIP's flow in.....
I honestly was considering trading in my car for a YARIS several months back when gas was extremely high. I do a lot of driving sometimes and at that time I was putting in roughly 150 per week for gas.

Going with a base yaris with some minor upgrades like sway bar and lowering springs and an estimated lower price off MSRP, I would be paying MORE for the yaris than I am for the G. Completely not worth it.

ah the bait and switch, don't fall for it.

Wait until you need a car, not until the dealership needs to sell you a new car. What sounds like a good deal will end up costing you in the end. Plus you have barely scratched the surface on the # of miles a well taken care of infiniti can handle. Check the threads, you'll see several well into the 100K range and some approaching 200K. My last VQ went for 245K before I sold it for $3000 and bought the new one outright. It's amazing how much money you can save when you don't have a car payment hanging over your head every month.

^^^

Wish I could have that feeling, but the stupid government has frozen positions. Part time FTL, otherwise I'd pay off the car within a year.
