ob sedan w/ black overlays

there are the blue batmobile overlays

i installed it on just the reverse taillights for now because i am installing it myself.. and i will tell you.. it is very time consuming.. it took me about an hour and a half just to do these two small pieces (keep in mind i am an idiot at these sorts of things).. i dont even think i did too well of a job at it.. but you gotta really look at it to see any sort of bubbles...

Re: ob sedan w/ black overlays

Boy, those are pretty dark. I really like the effect but the cop-factor keeps me from getting overlays. The ricers across the street from me and their buddies darkened their lenses over the past year and they are all now back to stock.

Sure looks good though.

i really thought about the cop factor too, but these are pretty cheap and and if i ever did get a ticket for it, i could pretty easily remove them myself.. yeah.. it will be annoying though

That is awesome ahgahpeh. I like it a lot. Especially on your black car. I have always disliked the "island" reverse light so I think by only blacking those out, you cleaned up the rear quite a bit. Looks good.

Re: ob sedan w/ black overlays

yeah.. the only reason i decided to smoke them out was because i never liked how those back up lights looked pink from a distance.. thanks for the nice comments!

i did it myself.. its not TOO hard but it takes patience.. and i was just so excited to put them on.. but to do it right.. i think it would take a good hour or two

Re: ob sedan w/ black overlays

I like it!!!

OK, so I tried searching a bit, but if somebody can fill in the details (ie ahgahpeh)?

I realize there is a website (http://www.bluebatmobile.com) with examples
http://www.bluebatmobile.com/gallery/album13

I also realize there is somebody on 350Z that sells them:
http://www.my350z.com/forum/member.p...fo&userid=9625

Questions are:

Is this the right information?
Is there a price list and examples of ALL tint options available (besides the few in the gallery on the website)?
Etc.
How to order some of my own?

Re: ob sedan w/ black overlays

all you gotta do is send an email to andrew at dubblea@peoplepc.com

he is the owner of bluebatmobile.. he sells the vinyl kits for the sedan for 40 dollars.. but if you just want what i did, im sure he can work out a good deal for you for just the back up lights.. best of luck

Re: ob sedan w/ black overlays

Thanks, 6/10 definitely look a lot better. But don't want to give cops reason to pull me over.
Is the overlay reusable?
