I was trying to find one of the seals for the door, the weather strip that attaches to the body, but couldn't find it on the part break down over at Riverside.
I'd suggest just asking your local friendly Infiniti dealer and they'll know the part number. That's who you'll have to buy from anyway.
...and that last sentence was foreshadowing of my own

Does anyone know how to install this part. The labor rate here is like 130.

I assume this also, but I don't know how easy it is to install. I hope someone can post up how. I am going to call the dealer now to find out how much.
they're easy to do. a few clips, a few strips of double sided tape.
much easier once you have the new strips in hand. easier to see what you're dealing with.
clean up the old tape residue thoroughly. dont pull the backing off the new adhesive until you are clipped into place.
to get the strip into the top groove, stand on the inner side of the door and work the inside edge in first. I might be thinking of the v36, but I'm pretty sure the v35 has the same set up.
cheers

I am pretty sure #5 is the right part.
Also If someone could explain the installation and uninstall procedure?
Thanks
