Re: Paint on non-aero lowers

I had a dealer give me a price of $600.00 to paint mile Ivory pearl. That is a little higher than other colors because it is a tri-color. I bought paint from paintscratch.com and will remove and paint the lowers myself. MUCH cheaper.

Re: Paint on non-aero lowers

The paint I ordered is $176.00. That includes primer, basecoat, midcoat, clear with flex additive, sandpaper, tack rags and polishing compound. Figure about $140.00 or so for single stage colors. I will remove the trim to paint it. I'll try and post some pictures of the process. The paint should be here tomorrow and it's supposed to be warm and dry this weekend.
