Just another G sedan representin' with some new brakes. . .

hope this isn't the wrong forum to be in (i was thinkin' maybe i shoudl put this in the brake forum, but i'm proud of owning a sedan so i'm posting it here!)

just finally finished installing my akebono bbk. . .used G2 paint system to paint them red, than put on "infiniti" vinyl decals, and sprayed over with high temp caliper VHT clear coat for added protection. . .these were a nightmare since my 18" OEM coupe rims did not clear the calipers, and my currently installed 19" rims did not have the correct offset. . .so 10MM ichiba spacers were installed in the front to get that right. . .only lingering problem are two things. . .the threads on one of the studs that came wiht my spacers are jacked up (gotta get a replacement), and i'm hearing this rubbing on my front left brake system. . .i'm pretty sure its the pads against the rotors, but it sounds pretty bad, so i'll have to do more R&D and get it fixed later since i'm outta town for the next week. . .anyways nothing too unique, but i love the look!

My 1.5mm of clearance. . just barely made it!

**** that's close! I like it

Check to make sure the dust shields up front are not hitting/rubbing on the rotor. That is usually what happens when you go bigger up front.

thanks for the props. . .YES, dust shields also immediately came to my mind, i'll definitley be ready to hack off anything that gets in my rotor's way!. . .i will certainly make a review once i get everything fixed soon hopefully. There's actually a few reviews already on this setup (i think in the brake/suspension Tech forum), all were extremely positive (reason why i got a set).

rims are 19 x 8.5" . . .with i believe a +35mm offset. . .requiring me to get 10mm wheel spacers up front. . .the rears clear with no problem. . .
